This ceremony is a celebration of the blessing that is a new life, and the initiation of the sacred journey that is parenthood. In this ceremony we cleanse the space, offer fruits, bury the placenta, and bless the road ahead. If this option feels right to your family we will hold the ceremony in whatever private outdoor space you choose. You can also choose to show gratitude by planting whatever you feel called to at the site during the ceremony. Placenta encapsulation is safe and intuitive practice for honoring the placenta and caring for your body after birth. We offer raw encapsulation or encapsulation with herbs. Honor the placenta and your postpartum journey with other alternatives such as: placenta salves, placenta tinctures, and placenta prints.
